Queenscliff Golf Club
The Course
The par-72 layout features predictable sandy terrain that remains dry and accessible in all conditions, as well as striking backdrops across the Ramsar wetlands environment with vital habitat for rare species like the orange-bellied parrot.
History
Initially opened in 1907 with just 5 holes laid by founding member Mr. Banks, the club officially formed in 1913 and expanded to 15 holes by 1954 before completing the current 18-hole configuration in extensive 1961 upgrades that cemented golf’s long-term viability on the island.
